If you’ve ever tried to pattern a pilot cap over a pair of lekku, you know how tricky the geometry can be. I designed this pattern to eliminate that frustration, giving you a screen-accurate shape that fits perfectly over your tails.

While I built this specifically for Hera Syndulla (Rebels/Ahsoka), the base shape works for any Twi'lek pilot, smuggler, or mechanic OC that needs a fitted "headsock" style cap.

Skill Level: Beginner Friendly You do need basic sewing knowledge to use this, but it’s not complex. If you can sew a straight stitch, you can build this hat.

Materials: Works great with leather, vinyl, or even thermoplastics like Worbla if you want a rigid helmet base.
Sizing: The pattern includes instructions on how to easily resize and adjust the fit for different lekku shapes (latex, silicone, or fabric).
