Caprica Six

Battlestar Galactica

I’ve been a fan of Battlestar Galactica since I was young. I loved the show’s complex characters, its gritty politics, and its stunning visuals. But one character always stood out to me: Caprica Six.

Caprica Six was a beautiful, sophisticated, and intelligent woman. She was also a Cylon, a humanoid robot that was created to infiltrate and destroy humanity. But despite her dual nature, Caprica Six was still a sympathetic character. I had to cosplay her.

It was by pure dumb luck that I happened upon the perfect dress – a gorgeous and tight fitted red latex dress. I had never worn latex before, but I was so excited to try. It wasn’t a perfect match for Six, it wasn’t strapless and didn’t quite billow at the bottom… but it was worth it, to try a rendition of the character in latex. I figured, if any character would consider latex an upgrade to her look, it would be Six.

The rest of the costume was simple enough – a short, cute lace front wig in blonde, and some simple blue contacts completed the look.

For the photoshoot, I stood in front of a very large window on a sunny day with a sheet over it to blur everything into a bright white light behind me. It gave me that perfect look to recreate the iconic Six photoshoot.

Of course, I didn’t stop there. I was feeling really sexy, so naturally that meant the dress had to come off for a few extra photos. The latex was really fun to wear, and I can’t wait to do more cosplays in latex!
